Combining with Adverbs
To avoid short, choppy sentences, combine sentences using words, phrases, or clauses.
You can combine sentences by leaving out repeated words and moving an adverb into one of the sentences.
Examples:
Matthew also takes pictures. He takes them constantly.
Matthew also takes pictures constantly.
Matthew uses a digital camera. He uses it exclusively.
Matthew uses a digital camera exclusively.
We ran to the store. We ran quickly.
