Noun Scavenger Hunt
Objective:
- To identify and differentiate between different types of nouns (common, proper, concrete, abstract) in everyday situations.
Materials:
- Noun scavenger hunt worksheet (see example below)
- Pencils or pens
Instructions:
- Divide the class into groups of 3-4 students.
- Give each group a copy of the noun scavenger hunt worksheet and a pencil or pen.
- Explain the different types of nouns (common, proper, concrete, abstract) and give examples of each.
- Instruct students to work together to find examples of each type of noun in the classroom, hallway, or outside.
- Encourage students to be creative in their search and to think outside the box.
- When a group finds an example of a noun, they should write it on the worksheet under the correct category.
- The first group to find all the examples or the group with the most correct answers at the end of the allotted time wins.

Reflection:
